distinguished club program (dcp)Distinguished Club GoalsAdministered by Toastmasters International (TI), the Distinguished Club Program (DCP) has a strong focus on educational achievement and club membership. The Distinguished Club Program is an annual program covering an entire Toastmasters year, from July 1 through June 30. At the end of this period, clubs will receive recognition for their efforts based upon the number of DCP goals reached during the year. [Toastmaster International Official Document] DCP GoalsThe Distinguished Club Program is an extremely simple program: The more goals that your club reaches, the higher the recognition for your club. There are ten possible goals that your club can achieve: 1 Achieve 2 CC (Competent Communicator) awards 2 Achieve 2 more CC awards 3 Achieve 1 ACB (Advanced Communicator Bronze), ACS (Silver), or ACG (Gold) award 4 Achieve 1 more ACB, ACS, or ACG award 5 Achieve 1 CL (Competent Leader), AL (Advanced Leader, Bronze or Silver), or DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) award 6 Achieve 1 more CL, AL, or DTM award 7 Add 4 new members 8 Add 4 more new members 9 Have a minimum of 4 officers trained during each of the 2 Club Officer Training periods 10 Submit one Semi-Annual Report and one Club Officer List to Toastmasters International before the deadline Membership RequirementTo be eligible for recognition under the Distinguished Club Program, a club must end the Toastmasters year (July 1 through June 30) with 20 or more members OR with a net increase of at least 5 members over the number of members it had at the beginning of the year.
